Monitor selected hosts
Add an IP address or hostname, organize it into a group, and optionally set a latency threshold. Lantern reports online, degraded, offline, unknown, or disabled state.
Lantern Network Monitor v1.6.7
Lantern is a local Windows network monitor for hosts you choose. It records ICMP reachability and latency, calculates packet loss and availability, confirms outages, and keeps retained history in a local SQLite database.

Current operation
Use host status for the current picture, graphs and events for context, and diagnostics when a confirmed outage needs investigation.
At a glance
Add an IP address or hostname, organize it into a group, and optionally set a latency threshold. Lantern reports online, degraded, offline, unknown, or disabled state.
Lantern confirms outages after repeated failures, closes them after confirmed recovery, and records start, recovery, duration, and active/recovered state for review and CSV export.
Advanced Diagnostics compares target evidence with gateway, DNS, and route context. The IP Scanner finds responding IPv4 devices before you add them.
Local by design
Lantern stores hosts, settings, samples, rollups, outages, degraded events, and diagnostic history in its local application database. Monitoring and diagnostic probes still contact the addresses and DNS servers you configure.
